After over a year, i have finally got something close to what i have envisioned.

Note: Python is a requirement as a runtime as these are uncompiled (that will change in the future)

There is a version specific to Windows due to idiosyncracies between window commands for VLC

This version of the unified installer can autodetect your operating system.

NOTE: this is based on source code, so Python is still required
